OptiFDTD enables you to design, analyze and test modern passive and nonlinear photonic components for wave propagation, scattering, reflection, diffraction, polarization and nonlinear phenomena. The core program of OptiFDTD is based on the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) algorithm with second-order numerical accuracy and the most advanced boundary conditions – Uniaxial Perfectly Matched Layer (UPML).

The algorithm solves both electric and magnetic fields in temporal and spatial domain using the full-vector differential form of Maxwell’s coupled curl equations. This allows for arbitrary model geometries and places no restriction on the material properties of the devices.

Applications

  • Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)
  • Photonic band gap materials and devices
  • Nano-particles, and tissue cells
  • Diffractive micro-optics elements and lenses
  • Complex integrated optics structures
  • Nonlinear materials, dispersive materials
  • Optical micro-ring filters and resonators
  • Grating based waveguide structures
  • Electromagnetic phenomena

Interface with Popular DesignTools
  • Code V
  • Zemax

The definition of a supermodel has undergone a radical transformation. What once required strict agency curation, physical magazine covers, and exclusive haute couture contracts has evolved into an ecosystem driven by digital influence, personal branding, and cultural advocacy. An updated look at the modeling industry reveals that structural changes in media have fundamentally altered who gets the spotlight and how they keep it. 1. The Heritage Era vs. The Modern Guard

Modern curation accounts often elevate new faces before they hit the mainstream, making them invaluable for trend forecasting. The Shift in Modeling Trends (2025-2026) supermodels717+updated

In the updated landscape, the criteria for "super" status have shifted toward visibility and relatability. The rise of the "Instagirls," led by figures like Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters, marked the first major update. Suddenly, a model’s value was measured not just by their walk or their "look," but by their follower count. This digital capital gave models a direct line to their audience, bypassing traditional media. They became their own publicists, sharing glimpses of their personal lives, which created a new form of intimacy with the public.

Below is an article summarizing the current state of advanced generative models and the rise of virtual "supermodels" in the 2026 landscape. This public link is valid for 7 days
