Multiversus Frame Data 📥
These characters rely heavily on placing traps and projectiles. While their melee attacks might have slower startup frames, their projectiles control space and force opponents to play defensive. Mastering frame data here is about knowing how long it takes to set up a rocket or a projectile safely without getting rushed down.
Recovery frames are the "cool-down" period. The attack has ended, and your character is returning to their neutral standing position. During recovery, you cannot move, block, dodge, or counter-attack.
Hop into the MultiVersus training mode. Turn on the "Hitbox/Hurtbox Display" settings. This visual aid will show you exactly when hitboxes appear (startup) and how long they last (active frames). Multiversus Frame Data
Frame data determines who has “frame advantage” — whether you or your opponent can act first after an interaction. Moves that leave you at an advantage allow you to continue applying pressure; moves that leave you at a disadvantage force you to play defensively.
